The LPN to RN option is a full-time day program designed for Licensed Practical Nurses who graduated from a Practical School of Nursing approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Successful completion of the General Education courses are required prior to admission to the program. Accepted students must successfully complete a one-credit course, Transition to the Role of the Professional Nurse, during the summer session prior to the start of the Program in the Fall semester. Students are able to complete the Program in one academic year. Successful completion of the Program enables students to take the NCLEX-RN examination and apply for a license as a Registered Nurse.
