Second or First Class Medical Certificate Requirement
Students applying for admissions to the Aviation Science Management Program must possess either a Second or First Class Medical Certificate. (Aviation Medical Certificate is not required for non-flying students.)
North Shore Community College will require a copy of your medical certificate be submitted prior to final acceptance to the program. Medical examinations can be obtained through any FAA approved Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). A listing of local AMEs is below and also available at this website www.faa.gov.

FAA Air Agency Certificate
North Shore Community College maintains the FAA Air Agency Certificate LQ8S303Q for a Part 141 Pilot School. This includes a Private Pilot Ground School course which is conducted under FAR Part 141.
