Help people stay active and healthy in the growing field of physical therapy
Physical therapist assistants are in demand. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment of physical therapist assistants is expected to increase 46 percent from 2010 to 2020, much faster than the average for all occupations. NSCC’s Physical Therapist Assistant program prepares graduates to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a variety of health care settings, including rehabilitation facilities, schools, long-term care, home health care settings, pediatrics, acute care hospitals, orthopedics, and sports medicine clinics.
Choose from two options:
- Physical Therapist Assistant is a full-time day program designed to be completed in four semesters.
- Physical Therapist Assistant – Part-Time Option is designed to be completed within six semesters, a great option for working adults with career and life obligations that make it difficult to attend classes on a full-time basis. Classes are offered during the day on weekdays only.
