Resources to help you cover essential needs and college costs
If you are enrolled in six or more credits for the Fall 2026, are in good academic standing, and meet other eligibility requirements, you may qualify for additional financial support through NSCC's Here to Help Fund.
You must meet with a staff member from Basic Essential Needs or Student Financial Services to obtain more information. In order to do so, please follow the procedure below to meet with respective office.
Meet with staff from Basic Essential Needs (for concerns only related to essential needs)
To schedule an appointment with Basic Essential Needs
1. Log into Navigate.
2. Select 'Appointments'
3. Select “Schedule an Appointment”
4. Choose the type of meeting, desired service, and date (Basic Essential Needs)
5. Select "Here to Help" as the service
6. Find available time
6. It is a virtual appointment via Zoom
7. Confirm appointment by clicking “Schedule”
Meet with staff from Student Financial Services (for concerns only related to college costs)
To schedule an appointment with Student Financial Services:
1. Log into Navigate.
2. Select 'Appointments'
3. Select “Schedule an Appointment”
4. Choose the type of meeting, desired service, and date (Student Financial Services)
5. Select "Here to Help" as the service
6. Find available time
7. Select staff member for your appointment
8. Confirm appointment by clicking “Schedule”
