State Immunization Requirements for 2019-2020
Massachusetts state law requires all full-time undergraduate, all full and part-time Health Profession students, and students on a visa submit documentation for immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, varicella, hepatitis B and meningitis.
New! Beginning with our Fall 2019 term, we will be collecting immunization documentation via our new partner, CastleBranch. Incoming and current full-time matriculated students will be able to set up accounts, for free, with CastleBranch and upload their proof of immunization directly on the site.
Instructions on how to set up a CastleBranch account will be shared over the summer with eligible students via their North Shore Community College email account.
Students can use the North Shore Community College Immunization Form to demonstrate required immunizations.
NEW Meningococcal Requirements for 2019-2020
In addition to the above immunization requirements, all newly enrolled full-time students 21 years of age and younger are also required to submit meningitis documentation in one of the following ways:
- Proof of one dose of MenACWY administered on or after 16th birthday OR
- Signed Meningococcal Waiver.
Visit the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for more information about meningococcal vaccines, vaccination requirements and the meningococcal waiver.
Health Profession students require additional immunizations as outlined in Program Acceptance packets.
