NSCCs Nurse Education program is closed for Fall 2025.
Free Community College
Massachusetts allows all residents without a bachelor’s degree to attend North Shore Community College for free.
No tuition. No fees. Both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.
Choose from two options:
1) Nurse Education

Nurse Education prepares new students entering NSCC’s Nurse Education Program.
2) LPN to RN Option
-
LPN to RN option is a full-time day program designed for Licensed Practical Nurses who graduated from a Practical School of Nursing approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
