Gain entry into a career in law and be part of the legal team
Paralegals are trained in law and legal procedures to assist attorneys in the delivery of legal services to the public. Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law. Although a paralegal may not practice law, a paralegal can perform substantive legal work and gain entry into a career in law. Graduates of NSCC’s Paralegal program are prepared to assist attorneys in investigating facts, researching legal issues, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and preparing for trial.
