Attend a Mandatory Information Session
Attendance at a Surgical Technology Information Session (between September 2026 - May 2027) is required before applying to the Surgical Technology program to learn about admission requirements, curriculum, clinical experiences, and the application process.
Location: Virtual (Zoom) & In-Person (Danvers Campus). Check each date for the specific location.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour.
Attendance: Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals (5+ minutes) will not
be admitted and must attend a future session. Attendance will be recorded.

Take the ATI TEAS Exam
Exam Requirements:
- Preferred that TEAS are taken at NSCC (online TEAS exams not accepted at this time)
- ATI TEAS Version 7 required
- Max 3 attempts per academic year (Sept 1 - Aug 31) regardless of the testing site and program to which they are applying.
- Tests from other locations require an official transcript from ATI (Order Here)
- Students whose score reports reflect that they have tested more than two times require an official transcript from ATI (Order Here)
NSCC reserves the right to verify all TEAS score reports.
Exams taken at locations other than NSCC must adhere to proctoring requirements with
a secured browser.
Required TEAS sections
- Reading (any score)
- Math (any score)
- Science (50% or higher)
- English (any score)
TEAS Exam Exemption
- If you hold a Bachelor's degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education AND completed both Anatomy & Physiology I and II with a "C" grade or better within the last 10 years, the TEAS requirement is waived.

A word-processed essay written in the English language must be submitted for the year in which you are applying.

Submit all previous College/University Transcripts
All official transcripts from previous colleges/universities must be sent directly to NSCC. If you’ve already submitted transcripts, you must send updated ones if you’ve completed additional coursework.

Upload documentation to your application. Communications & Mathematics Proficiency can be demonstrated in multiple ways:
