Choose a rewarding Human Services career working with children, adolescents and their families in treatment
NSCC’s Child/Youth Advocate Certificate provides the academic foundation and hands-on field placement training for students to successfully start a career working with children, adolescents and their families in treatment settings such as schools, community agencies, residential programs, hospitals and family homes. There is a high demand for human service practitioners today in agencies that serves this population and the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that human service careers are among the fastest growing occupations in the United States.
Human Services Pathway
For students interested in continuing their education, courses in this program count towards NSCC’s Human Services Practitioner Associate in Science degree.
