The Gender and Women’s Studies Certificate provides a platform for students to study how the social construction of gender intersects with other identities in relation to systems of power and privilege. This interdisciplinary certificate provides a focus for students interested in gender and women’s studies within the framework of the traditional skills and content of a liberal arts education. NSCC's Gender and Women’s Studies certificate provides students with a professional credential for industries where equity & inclusion work is valued.
Free Community College
Massachusetts allows all residents without a bachelor’s degree to attend North Shore Community College for free.
No tuition. No fees. Both programs include an allowance for books and supplies for certain students.

The total tuition and General and Technology Fees for In-state Residents without financial aid is $4,014 for the 18-credit certificate (fees vary by program).
