    Career, Degree (AS)


    The Computer Applications Degree Program prepares students for careers in Information Technology.

    Through courses in business, technical writing, operating systems, web technology, software, and programming languages students develop technical skills necessary for entry-level employment in the IT field. Students have the opportunity to gain work experience through an internship.

    Simultaneous awarding of Certificate and Degree policy: Certificates whose coursework is embedded in an Associate's degree program will not be awarded simultaneously in the same term as the degree is awarded; i.e. Computer Applications(CED) and Computer Applications Certificate(CEC).
