Entrance Exam for Health Programs
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a required assessment for applicants to certain health and nursing programs at North Shore Community College. TEAS is a computerized test composed of multiple-choice questions organized into four sections, which measure reading, mathematics skills, science and English grammar. The test takes about 4 hours to complete. TEAS exams must be taken in person at an authorized Testing Center.
NSCC Testing Center Hours and Locations
TEAS exams must be taken in person and are offered on the Danvers (DB-213) or Lynn (LS-215) campus. You must register with atitesting.com, select a test date, and pay online prior to testing. You will need your ATI username and password on the day of testing to access your exam.

Taking the TEAS
The ATI TEAS version 7 Study Manual and online practice tests are available at www.atitesting.com. The book is also available in the NSCC libraries or online through the NSCC bookstore https://www.bkstr.com/northshorestore/home.
NSCC also offers non-credit prep courses for the ATI TEAS test. For more information, call Corporate and Professional Education at (978) 236-1200.
To view available testing dates, register and pay (the fee is $106 per test):
- Go to atitesting.com and log in or create an ATI account if you do not already have one.
- Click “Online Store”
- Select TEAS for Nursing or TEAS for Allied Health (they are the same but dates may be different).
- Choose Massachusetts and then select either North Shore CC Danvers campus then either North Shore CC Lynn Campus.
- Select your test date and enter your credit card information. The fee is $106 per test.
- You will need your ATI Username and Password on the date of testing.

TEAS tests for all programs must be taken in person at an authorized test center. At this time, there is no remote option.

Arrive at the testing center at least 15 minutes before the test start time.

You MUST have a government issued photo ID that matches the name you used on your test registration.

You will need your ATI username and password.
Students receive their individual ATI TEAS score reports immediately upon completion of the exam. Students can also access their score reports by logging into www.atitesting.com and clicking “My Results.” Students must upload a copy of the scores with their completed application packet.
Applicants may take the test a total of three (3) times in the academic year prior to submitting their application. If a student takes the test a fourth time, the Admissions office will deem these scores invalid and testing fees will not be refunded.

Students who fail to comply with the rules of testing face disciplinary action according to ATI and NSCC student guidelines.

Students can access copies of their score reports by logging into www.ATITesting.com. Username and password retrieval functions are available on the website. Once logged in, click on "My Results and Remediation" for copies of your test scores.
