We encourage you to talk to your assigned faculty or professional academic advisor to help you decide which option can make transferring easier, faster, and more affordable.
MassTransfer
Graduate from NSCC with at least a "B" average and you’ll have guaranteed admission to a state university or UMass to complete your junior and senior years, with no application fees or essays.
Commonwealth Commitment
Complete your associate degree at NSCC within 2.5 academic years, transfer to UMass or another Massachusetts state university as a full-time student and receive a 10% rebate of tuition and fees each semester.
Transfer Agreements
NSCC works with public and private colleges and universities to create articulation agreements, which agree to accept a program in its entirety or a major portion of a program into the Bachelor level of a comparable program.

The Education Transfer Compacts are designed for students pursuing teacher licensure and ensure that your coursework aligns with four-year programs, making your transfer smoother and more efficient.

Interested in Taking Courses at Other Institutions?
Are you not ready to transfer but still interested in taking courses at other institutions? NSCC participates in the NECCUM consortium, allowing eligible students to cross-register.
