Javascript is a programming language that runs on a Web browser. The learning management system uses this language to be functional. If Javascript is not enabled, the system will not work for specific purposes.

To enable or troubleshoot the Javascript plugin in your Web browser, follow these steps:

Edge (20 and higher)
Edge does not support Javascript. However, if you encounter Javascript content in Edge:

  1. Click the More menu and select Open with Internet Explorer.
  2. View/access content with the Internet Explorer mirror.

Firefox (31 and higher)

  1. Go to the address bar and type about:config, and press Enter on your keyboard.
  2. Click the l'll be careful, I promise! button.
  3. Scroll down to Javascript.enabled.
  4. If disabled, the value is set to False. To enable, double click on it and the value changes to True.

Safari (6 and higher)

  1. Click the word Safari, on the top-left side, and select Preferences.
  2. Click the Security icon.
  3. Select Enable Javascript for Web Content.

Chrome (36 and higher)

  1. Go to the three stacked lines icon, on the top-right side, and select Settings.
  2. Scroll down, and click the Show Advanced Setting link.
  3. Scroll down to the Privacy section, and click the Content Settings button.
  4. Select Allow All Sites to Run Javascript.
  5. Click the Done button.

Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your Javascript settings.
