How to apply and enroll
Expand AllCollapse AllYou can apply online for free! First, choose a program of study. Students will be notified by email and letter of their acceptance.
Complete the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. NSCC’s school code is 002173. Need help applying? The North Shore Educational Opportunity Center at NSCC offers financial aid information and assistance to low-income, first generational potential college students.
NSCC uses the College Board Accuplacer test to determine your reading, writing and mathematics skills. Testing is offered on a walk-in basis. No appointment necessary. Check out free study guides or take a practice test. For testing locations, office hours, or contact information, visit NSCC’s Testing Center.
Set-up MyNorthshore to access the student portal for all campus business and information.
Once you have been accepted, completed Placement Testing, and reviewed Online Registration Prep you are ready to select your classes with an advisor.
Once you complete Class Registration, you will select your Orientation date to learn about how NSCC works. Meet fellow students and faculty, and find out where to purchase books, get your student ID and parking pass.
