The Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) (formerly known as Fuel Assistance) provides eligible households with help in paying a portion of winter heating bills. View more info and apply at:

Utility Assistance 

Income-eligible customers may qualify for a discounted rate on electric services with National Grid. To be eligible, you must be a National Grid customer and already enrolled in an eligible benefit program such as:

  • SNAP
  • Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
  • Public Housing
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Certain veteran related programs
  • Masshealth
  • Commonwealth Care Plan Types 1, 2 or 3A
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • AND MORE
