Dining and catering services at NSCC

Root feeding opportunity and communityRoot will officially take over dining and catering services across both the Lynn and Danvers campuses starting the first week of August. Root brings fresh, high-quality food, streamlined modern technology, and a mission-driven focus on community and youth empowerment to our campuses. The transition to Root marks a new chapter for campus dining, introducing enhanced options and modern conveniences for students, faculty, and staff.

Hours of Operations

Root dining and catering will be available with these hours:

Summer Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Fall Hours (Starting Sept 2)

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Cashless Payments (Toast App)

Prefer to order on-site? Use our ordering kiosks located on both the Lynn and Danvers campuses to browse menus and place your order anytime during service hours.

Join Us for a Food-Tasting Event 

In late August, we will host a Welcome and Food-Tasting Event at both campus cafeterias. You'll have the chance to sample menu items, test out Root’s online ordering platform, Toast, and meet the Root team. Stay tuned for exact dates and details!
