Goals - The goal of parking/traffic enforcement is to ensure public safety and the smooth movement of vehicles through and around NSCC Campuses. Your voluntary compliance is the goal. Unfortunately there are individuals who park and travel contrary to established rules and regulations. Many times these individuals increase the likelihood of inconvenience to fellow motorists and jeopardize public safety. 

Tickets - These violators are subject to ticketing and towing. NSCC parking tickets carry the same authority as any other City or Town in the Commonwealth. Fines that remain unpaid after the 21 day appeal/payment period are subject to the following:

Additional penalty charges

  • Non-renewal of vehicle registration
  • Non-renewal of vehicle owners drivers license
  • Suspension of the vehicle owners ability to register for classes & receive transcripts.
  • Tickets that are not paid and reported to the registry increase from $10.00 to $35.00 each.

Parking Ticket Appeals - You may appeal this ticket by providing the Parking Hearings Officer a written explanation of the circumstances surrounding your appeal. Please include a photocopy of the ticket or at a minimum the ticket number, date, and location or violation. DO NOT SEND THE TICKET. The hearing officer may render a judgment based or your submittal or schedule a hearing at his discretion. 

Towing - Any vehicle parked in violation of any parking rule or regulation is subject to towing at the expense of the of the vehicle owner.
