North Shore Community College (NSCC) has announced a partnership with Root, a Salem-based organization that tackles youth unemployment and food insecurity. Root will be NSCC's new dining and catering partner.

Dining services will be available at both the Lynn and Danvers campuses, and will feature streamlined digital amenities such as online ordering and advance pickup options.
According to NSCC president William Heineman, the partnership represents a deep alignment of values and a shared commitment to regional equity and education, while deepening Root’s core mission of training and employing young adults and nourishing the community.
