Frederic MacDonald-DennisFrederic MacDonald-Dennis, of Salem, has been named North Shore Community College’s (NSCC) Director of Student Engagement and Leadership Development. 

MacDonald-Dennis brings with him a wealth of experience with 30 years in higher education administration, most recently as the Director of TRIO at Berkshire Community College. He previously held positions at Emory University, the University of Minnesota, Haverford College and the Art Institute of Philadelphia. 

In his new role, MacDonald-Dennis will be responsible for the planning, administration, supervision and evaluation of co-curricular and curricular educationally purposeful student engagement programs and services.  

“I am thrilled to be a part of the NSCC community. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our brilliant students and dedicated, student-centered staff and faculty. I look forward to working with all members of the community to help students realize their potential and achieve their dreams," said MacDonald-Dennis.

A native of Alabama, MacDonald-Dennis earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from the University of Alabama.
