General Requirements for Health Care Courses

- Accuplacer Placement Exam: Strongly recommended for advising purposes.
- CORI Check: Required for all health care courses.
- Health Documentation: Proof of immunizations, a negative TB test, COVID-19 vaccination with booster, and possibly a drug screening may be required.
Skills You’ll Acquire
Courses are taught by licensed healthcare professionals and include both classroom instruction and hands-on training. Many are eligible for funding or tuition assistance for those who qualify. Our programs are designed to prepare you for real-world success in a variety of in-demand healthcare roles.
Certified Nurse Assistant / Home Health Aide
Provide daily care and comfort to patients. Assist with mobility, nutrition, and hygiene. Prepare for the Massachusetts CNA certification exam.
Phlebotomy & EKG Technician
Draw and handle blood specimens safely and accurately. Learn to conduct and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs). Prepare for national certification exams.
Dental Assisting
Become familiar with all areas of administrative and clinical dental assisting.
Central Sterile Processing Technician
Learn to clean and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment, and to set up and deliver them to surgical areas, hospital rooms, clinics and even patient’s homes.
Medical Interpreting
Interpreters can elect to work for a hospital, school, or state agency, or as contractors with many agencies throughout the country or they can elect to work remotely from home where they can work independently and make their own hours.
CPR & First Aid
Learn life-saving techniques in CPR for adults, children, and infants. Respond to emergencies with confidence. Earn certification from recognized organizations.
