Students from colleges and universities across Massachusetts, including North Shore Community College, gathered at the State House to advocate against bee-killing pesticides. From Environment Massachusetts:

Dozens of activists from Environment Massachusetts, MASSPIRG Students, the Xerces Society, and the Conservation Law Foundation came wearing bee costumes, holding posters, stuffed animal bees, and giant flowers. They were joined by Miss Massachusetts Earth 2025, Sophia Bloom, a former MASSPIRG Students intern at U Mass Amherst. The gathering preceded a legislative hearing on a bill to ban seeds covered by bee-killing pesticides.
