Train for a career in advanced manufacturing
Start a rewarding career in manufacturing with NSCC’s Machinist Training Program, a fully funded opportunity thanks to a generous grant from the GE Foundation. This program covers tuition, fees, and materials, meaning no cost to you. To qualify, you must be at least 18 and eligible to work in the U.S. Training takes place in-person at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School in Danvers, MA, with the next cohort starting in January 2026.

Foundational Skills Program:
If you already have a high school diploma or GED, you can begin with our online foundational skills courses. These bridge you into the hands-on machinist training.
Hands-On Machinist Training:
Once foundational courses are complete, you’ll move into the in-person, workforce-ready machinist training portion at Essex Tech.

Funding and Accreditation
NSCC’s Advanced Manufacturing Training Expansion Program is funded by a grant from the GE Foundation, in partnership with Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School and MassHire North Shore Career Center.
