January 14
North Shore Community College (NSCC) will hold their January Supervisors’ Connection, The Leadership Mosaic, Wednesday, January 20, from 8-10 a.m. The workshop, hosted by NSCC’s Corporate Training Solutions, will be held virtually via Zoom. Cost is $49 per workshop.
Every interaction with a manager or leader produces an imaginary and individual tesserae, some colorful and polished and others uneven with jagged edges. Throughout your career, these pieces coalesce to create your personal leadership mosaic, a unique stylized pattern of management on display to all those you lead. In this session, we’ll discover that leadership and management is both a science…and an art.
Workshop takeaways:
- Recognize the importance of leadership in the workplace.
- Evaluate your personal leadership style.
- Reflect on your interactions with former and current leaders and managers.
Facilitator: Rich Weissman focuses on operational improvements of individuals and organizations. He earned an MS in Management from Lesley University and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
