The focus of PLC’s is ongoing “job-embedded learning”, rather than a professional development session facilitated by a trainer, PLC’s emphasize teacher, administrator/director and or coach leadership, along with their active involvement and deep commitment to early childhood improvement efforts. PLC’s therefore benefit educators as much as they do young children and families.

Merrimack Valley Area Providers:
We are hosting a Professional Learning Community PLC-

Tuesday, February 5th 6:30-8:30
It will be held at EEC Department of Early Education and Care 360 Merrimack Street, 3rd Floor, Building 9 Lawrence
Join us for a discussion on how to deal with children effected by the gas explosions of the Merrimack Valley. A facilitator from MSPCC will guide the discussion and answer questions that early childhood professionals may have regarding the trauma that many children have experienced in the area. Imagine being a young child and worrying your house might blow up!
