The focus of PLC’s is ongoing “job-embedded learning”, rather than a professional development session facilitated by a trainer, PLC’s emphasize teacher, administrator/director and or coach leadership, along with their active involvement and deep commitment to early childhood improvement efforts. PLC’s therefore benefit educators as much as they do young children and families.
