Expand your career skills with noncredit training

Do you enjoy helping people? Have you considered a career in health care? Enter the health care field with a 100-hour training program for dual certification as a Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aide. Fulfill your classroom hours on campus and your clinical experience in a local nursing home with our Registered Nurse instructors. Students must take and pass the state board examination to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. You will also receive a Home Health Aide certificate, CPR certification, and CMS Hand in Hand Dementia training. The skills taught in our DPH approved training program include vital signs, moving and turning patients, personal care basics, bed making, bed bath and feeding, record keeping, and responding to emergencies.
