North Shore Community College and Curative’s COVID-19 testing partnership proved so popular in Lynn that the two organizations have agreed to extend it to NSCC’s Danvers campus at 1 Ferncroft Road.
Curative is now offering COVID-19 testing from a Curative Kiosk on Lot 3 of the Danvers Campus Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours will match the college’s schedule especially in connection with snow closures. Appointments for testing can be made at Mass Vax .
“We are happy to extend our partnership with NSCC to offer this service to the greater Danvers area,” said Tracy Cassidy, Curative’s Deputy Project Manager for Massachusetts & Maine. “The partnership has been extremely successful in Lynn where to date we have administered 3,589 tests since we opened the Lynn Campus testing trailer. We are pleased to be able to provide this community service.”
“NSCC is proud to emphasize the "community" in our college name at this time of great need,“ said Stephen Creamer, Interim Vice President of Student Affairs. “We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Curative to offer COVID-19 testing on both our campuses. Testing, masking and vaccinations are the only way for our communities to keep some sense of normalcy during this difficult time,” Creamer noted.
Curative ran the Mass Vaccination Site at the Doubletree in Danvers, just up the street from NSCC’s Danvers campus. The company is offering public and private mobile clinics at no cost to the organizations hosting. Curative provides signage, the trailer, and all support utilities for operation of the testing site and NSCC provides the location.
Effective January 3, 2022, all NSCC staff, and any students who will be studying on or visiting the campuses must provide proof of vaccination.
