North Shore Community College Partners with Gloucester High School, and MassHire to Offer Pathway to a Career in Advanced Manufacturing
North Shore Community College is offering a new free training opportunity to become a nationally certified CNC machinist. The program combines math for manufacturing class, career readiness preparation, and hands-on machinist training at Gloucester High School. Through a generous grant by the GE Foundation, the program is free of charge to students.
Demand for skilled workers in manufacturing is high, and our students are highly sought after by employers. In our most recent class, 100 percent of students pursuing a career were offered employment upon completion.
