Lori A. Vinci, of Windham, NH, has been named Dean of Health Professions and Human Services at North Shore Community College (NSCC) in Danvers, MA.   She brings with her a wealth of experience in the community college system in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and the private sector.

Prior to joining NSCC, Vinci was the chair for the Allied Health Sciences Department at Manchester Community College (MCC).  In her role there, she led a diverse array of academic programs, curriculum development, budget management and external accreditation.  Her work also included college-wide initiatives surrounding student success.  In addition to her chair role, she also served as the NECHE Accreditation Liaison Officer and co-chair for the college’s decennial re-accreditation.

A former faculty member at Northern Essex Community College in the Medical Assistant Program, she facilitated the increase in the program’s completion rate and acquired a number of new practicums.

Vinci earned a master of science degree in health care administration from Simmons College and a bachelor of science degree in psychology/biology from Salem State University.
