Winning grants for training funds

Company: Chelsea Jewish Foundation, Chelsea, MA

Challenge: Because of its expansion over the previous five years, Chelsea Jewish Foundation had a significant need for skilled health care workers.

Solution: Chelsea Jewish Foundation collaborated with NSCC's Corporate Training Solutions to apply for a Board of Higher Education Rapid Response grant, a new funding opportunity it was made aware of because of its relationship with Corporate Training Solutions.

Result: "The grant application was approved and the training funds have made it possible for Chelsea Jewish Foundation to build capacity for our workforce needs, resulting in an expanded training program with additional coaching and student supports. We are very grateful for our partnership with North Shore Community College's Corporate Training Solutions."
