Choose a rewarding career as an educator and make a difference in the earliest years of learning

If you love working with children, training in early childhood education is the natural next step to a rewarding career. NSCC’s 18-credit Early Childhood - Infant/Toddler Educator certificate program prepares new students, as well as those already working in the field wanting to continue their education, for professional work with children from birth to three years of age.

NSCC’s certificate program is founded on a philosophy of educational excellence and focuses on child development, special needs, curriculum planning, and health and safety in infant and toddler education. Besides making a difference in the lives of young children, training in a field you love furthers your own education, may help get you a raise, opens new career doors, and puts you one step closer to an Early Childhood Education associate degree, with transfer pathways to a bachelor’s degree.
