Improve lives and make a difference for those at-risk with a career in mental health

Heed your call to help those suffering with mental health challenges. NSCC’s Mental Health Certificate provides formalized education for both entry-level and current workers who do not have college education. This certificate will qualify students to work in the field of Mental Health as Direct Support Professionals, Outreach Counselors or Educational Specialists. It will also qualify students to work as relief staff on weekends or as part-time staff in various Human Service programs.

Human Services Pathway

For students interested in continuing their education, courses in this program count towards NSCC’s Human Services Practitioner Associate in Science degree.
