Which training option works best for you?

NSCC will help you train for a career in Advanced Manufacturing. Preparation courses, tuition, fees, and material costs are paid by a GE Foundation grant, so there is no charge to you. You must be at least 18 years old and able to work in the US.

FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS PROGRAM is for you!
NSCC's Foundational Skills program will cover the basics required to enter the manufacturing field.

Option #1:  Already have a high school diploma or equivalent?

The HiSET FOR MACHINISTS program is for you!

NSCC's HiSET for Machinists program is designed specifically for students who do not have a high school diploma or equivalent. In this online class, we will prepare you to take each of the HiSET exams while learning about the field of manufacturing. In addition to the live instruction, you will also have access to the self-paced HiSET preparation program, Aztec. Once you pass your HiSET, you will be ready to move into our hands-on machinist training at Essex Tech. 

If English is not your primary language, ESL FOR MACHINISTS Program is for you!

NSCC's ESL for Machinists program is designed specifically for students who need to develop better language skills to communicate. In this online class, a trained ESL instructor will help you improve your English skills while learning about the field of manufacturing. Once you successfully complete the course, you will be ready to move into our hands-on machinist training at Essex Tech.
