The Student Financial Services Office is divided into two sections on myNorthshore.
You will need to review the Student Accounts and Financial Aid screens to obtain all the information to successfully pay for your courses. All this
information is found under the School Services tab from the main page.
For financial aid you will click on the Financial Aid link. This will take you to your financial aid status, eligibility, award and the
email to our office. You will need to select a specific aid year when you first click
into a section.
Financial Aid Status - This lists any unsatisfied requirements, your transcript and if you are making
Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid. Alerts will also display here with
a message.
Eligibility - This is the section that lists all the requirements to complete your financial
aid file, and your current Academic Progress for financial aid. The hold section is
not used for financial aid. To see if you have a hold you would find this under Student
Records.
Award - This is where you can view your financial aid award. Account summary by term will
show you the charges for the semester and how much aid you will receive based off
of the number of credits you are enrolled. The Award by Aid Year has multiple tabs
that are useful.
- Award Overview - This tab shows you the total amount of financial aid you will receive based on full time enrollment.
- Resources/Additional - This is where you will complete the Financial Aid Authorization Form.
- Accept Award Offer - This is where you make a decision on if you would like to accept or decline your student loan.
For information about your Student Account or Bill click on Account Inquiry or Payment Options. This screen works best in the Firefox web browser. It will bring you to a separate
screen. From this screen you can review your bill, make a payment/set up a payment
plan and also create an authorized user. Other important screens are under Student Services and Registration.
Once on the Student Services and Registration screen click on Student Account, from here you can waive your health insurance and the MASSPIRG fee from your bill.
You can also find a copy of your 1098T from under tax notification. The Account Detail
for term will show your current bill and if you have any aid that is pending to pay
to your account.
Please take a few minutes to become familiar with the screens on myNorthshore. You
should check them frequently for any changes to your account. At any point you are
not sure of the information, please contact the Student Financial Services Office
at sfs@northshore.edu.
