NSCC’s MALES Summer Bridge and Mentor Program is designed to increase access, achievement and graduation rates for underserved students who are first-generation, low-income, minority males and males of color, particularly young Latino and African American men, so their prospects for success in college and career are more attainable.
This free program aims to develop the academic and college readiness skills to excel in college and career. Participants develop a sense of belonging and purpose, as well as a pathway to developing a mindset of growth and empowerment. We help you succeed and stay in college!
Summer Bridge and Mentor Program Schedule
Lynn Campus, 300 Broad Street
- Be an applicant to NSCC for the 2020-2021 academic year
- Be a first-year and/or a new college student
- Be a first-generation college student and/or from a low-income family
- Satisfy NSCC's Accuplacer Placement Exams in Math and Communications or by a review of your HS transcript
With the support of the MALES program, I am on my way to becoming a part of the population of men of color that persists and completes college!
