Experiential Education and Internship Program
Students in many NSCC academic degree and certificate programs can take advantage of internship opportunities through the Experiential Education and Internship Program. ITR200: Internship is a 2-credit course in which students participate in a 120-hour internship experience over a semester, typically 10-15 hours per week, in a work environment related to their program of study and career goals.Internships are completed under the guidance of an on-site supervisor, ITR200 instructor and internship coordinator who, in combination with the student, create a framework for learning and reflection to enrich the student educational experience.
When to begin the enrollment process and who to contact: If you have questions related to finding an approved internship, please contact the Internship Coordinator, Karyn King Fargo at kkingfar@northshore.edu or call 781-477-2118.
