Navigate Weekly Workshops

We are a few weeks into the Summer, and most of y’all have gone away on vacation! We hope that you are enjoying this beautiful weather, if you have the chance! That being said – the Navigate team is still here all Summer to assist with any Faculty & Staff Navigate questions, concerns and inquiries.

The institution has moved forward with a new onboarding process for newly accepted students. These students will be introduced to Navigate as the second “step” in their onboarding experience. This means that almost ALL of our students will be using Navigate going into Fall 2022. If you need to just brush up your skills, please feel free to utilize these workshops as well! Remember: The Navigate blackboard course, as well as resource tiles on MyNorthShore, are a great place to find some useful materials.

Welcome to the
Equality & Equity Project

As part of our commitment to Anti-Racism, Diversity & Inclusion, the Equality & Equity Project will provide historical and present-day information about the contributions, challenges, culture, and daily lives of the many vital groups that make up our NSCC community, and the larger world.

We invite you to visit often, reflect on what you see and read, discuss it with others and, hopefully, expand your knowledge base, appreciation, and understanding of groups beyond your own.

Think about this:

Be an ally:  An ally is a supporter of another person, idea, initiative or community, even when the ally doesn't share that identity or belief system. For example, men can be allies to cisgender and transgender women; straight people can be allies to lesbian, gay and bisexual people; atheists can be allies to people of faith; and vice versa.

If you have any questions or comments on NSCC's Equality & Equity Project, please contact us at EqualityEquity@northshore.edu
