Graphic Design Department
The Graphic Design curriculum includes hands-on training, activities, projects and an internship where students gain knowledge of the marketing, communication, research and design appreciation needed to work in these businesses. The program provides opportunities for the student to be creative, develop a portfolio of their personal style, and acquire professional awareness and techniques. Since promotion, advertising and communication are the ultimate goals for graphic design efforts, a significant focus for the Graphic Design program and courses are in this area, categorizing it as an option of Marketing.
