To apply for a job on this page:

  1. Contact the Work-Study supervisor identified in the job posting to set up an appointment.
  2. During the appointment, he or she will discuss duties of the job, qualifications, and work schedule. Your work-study schedule will be planned around your classes.
  3. If you are hired, your supervisor will send a hire request to the Work-Study coordinator.

Student Engagement Office Clerk (Danvers): Student Engagement

Campus: Danvers

Duties: Provide assistance in the Office of Student (Life) Engagement and Dean of Students Office in Lynn. Duties include customer service, handling confidential information, ID machine, giving information, answering questions, copying, scanning, & filing documents, computer work, answering telephone calls, taking messages, assisting with projects and events.

Expectations:
1. Take pride in your work, you are in a professional office.

2. Present your best self as a staff in a professional office setting.

3. The ability to perform required office tasks in a professional manner.

4. Pleasant communication skills

5. Responsible and respectful.

6. Collaborate with and receive guidance from other (FWS) student staff members

7. Collaborate with and receive guidance from part time clerical staff

8. Report on time for scheduled work hours

9. Confidentiality

Our office has many visitors that include - our college President, Vice President, Dean, students, community members, faculty, staff

Qualifications: 
Attendance:
- Hours are scheduled prior to working and are vital to the proper operation of the office.

- You are expected to attend your scheduled hours.

- If there is a discrepancy you should discuss it with your supervisor.

Tasks include:
1. Customer Service-Greet and assist all that comes into our office

2. Answer telephone and transfer calls

4. Use copier and fax machine

5. Computer work as needed

6. Collect funds for selling lockers, replacement IDs and various tickets and write receipts

7. Posting flyers

8. Assist with various aspects of events

9. Other duties as assigned

Skills you will develop:

- Interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills

- Professionalism for future jobs.

- Office work will help you learn organizational skills and increase your knowledge of computers, office procedures, handling money, diplomacy and providing a pleasant work environment.

FERPA: A Federal Law designed to protect the privacy of education records and to establish to right of students to inspect and review their education records. Also to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate and misleading information and formal hearings.

Lynn Artwork Curator : Academic Affairs

Campus: Lynn

Duties: Catalog, and label all public art work on the Lynn campus.
Maintain a database and floor plan detailing the location, approximate size, artist name, medium, condition, and facility attributes i.e.- current condition such as lighting, hanging method, wall type, paint color, space type (general circulation, office, meeting room etc.) for each piece discovered.

Document areas on Lynn campus where public art could be displayed and identify potential gallery locations. This includes updating a floor plan and taking pictures to document these potential areas.

Qualifications: Must be work study eligible, attention to detail, interest or proficiency in photography, ability to work with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe suite in order to create digitized floor plans.

Knowledge of artwork classification is preferred.

Pay Rate: $11.00

Student Receptionist: Tutoring Center (Danvers)

Campus: Danvers

Duties: Answer telephones, greet students, log students in and out of center's TutorTrac scheduling software, and assist with general office tasks.

Qualifications: Commitment to customer service and professionalism, as well as attention to detail, required.

Familiarity with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office suite, also required.

Previous experience in an office setting preferred.
