ESL Career Institute
The ESL Career Institute works with students speaking a language other than English at home to help you make good decisions about careers you may want to work in and how to pursue those careers. Students receive career and academic counseling, in-depth information about NSCC programs, and advice about course registration.
ACES: Health Sciences
ACES stands for Additional Course Experience & Support and involves four courses:
- Reading for Health Professions
- Writing for Health Professions
- Health Careers Seminar
- Body in Health and Disease
To be eligible for this program, you must (1) speak a language other than English at home, (2) be placed in Communication Skills Level 1, (3) be interested in a career in health care, and (4) be dedicated to learning and attending college.
