Health Insurance
$823 Annual Coverage - for coverage provided from September 1st 2009 - August 31st 2010 (can be waived if you have comparable health insurance)
$564 Spring Coverage - for coverage provided from January 1st 2010 - August 31st 2010 (can be waived if you have comparable health insurance)
Massachusetts' Universal Health Insurance Law requires that all students who are enrolled in 9 more credits participate in a comprehensive health insurance plan. Under this law, students will be charged annually for health insurance when they enroll in nine or more credits hours.
Students charged for health insurance must either pay or waive the charge (if they have proof of comparable coverage).
PLEASE NOTE: Programs such as Free Care, insurance provided by companies from outside the United States,
Commonwealth Care, and Mass Health (if you are a dependent of your parent) cannot be used to waive this requirement.
Health Insurance and Drop for Non-Payment
Students who register prior to the semester due date must pay or waive their health insurance by the due date to avoid having their classes dropped for non-payment.
Those students who register after the semester due date must pay or waiver their health insurance at the time of registration to avoid having their classes dropped for non-payment.
Additional Fees
Late Registration Fee - $10 per credit
Late Payment Charge - $50
Non-refundable Installment Plan Fee - $40
MassPirg Fee (can be waived in Pipeline) - $9 per term
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to increase tuition and fees without prior notice.
