Learn the general use of a digital camera. The class
will experiment with digital photo techniques and learn
how to load electronic images directly into a personal computer. The various types of images will be reviewed and the class will use the software package Photoshop to revise, combine and print the different pictures taken by the students. Participants should bring a digital camera if they have one, or one will be provided if they do not. Also, students must bring diskettes to save their work.

Use Photoshop's tools to alter your images. Create composites and collages of multiple images. Knowlege of computer graphices and photography is helpful, but not required.

Designed for students interested in taking their first steps into the world of guitar playing. Topics will include music reading, melody playing, chords, strumming patterns, and ensemble work. Bring a six string acoustic guitar and a 3-ring binder. The instructor will provide sheet music.
