How do I Register?
Color has increasingly become an important part of our residential and commercial environment. We feel its influence on us every day. Learning how to use color skillfully is a powerful tool for creating ambiance, attracting attention, or balancing design elements. The Language of Color clarifies color's vocabulary: hue, value, and saturation. Students develop a precise, working understanding of these terms. How colors interact and influence each other is explained. Students learn to create palettes for specific venues and clients.

 CSP146 - AutoCAD Basics for Interior Design
Non-Credit
How do I Register?
An introduction to the AutoCAD 2008 software and the environment is presented. The CAD workstation is used to produce floor plans for rooms, land and houses showing walls, entryways and windows. Learn the use of Blocks and External Reverence files to furnish the plans with fixtures and furniture. Object properties are examined including color, layer, thickness and elevation. Single point and multiple point perspectives are produced; shading is introduced. Measurements of all plans are made using the software tools.
