The Gerontology Activities Specialist certificate program is a 27-credit program. This program prepares people for work in the field of aging where activities planning and leadership for the elderly is of growing importance in a variety of settings.
Graduates will receive both academic and experiential background enabling them to qualify for certification from the national certification council of activities professionals.

The sequential nature of the Modular Education for Activity Professionals courses requires enrollment over four semesters.
