The Pre-engineering Program provides comprehensive instruction to students who may not have the appropriate academic preparation to begin the Engineering Science Program. The program stresses the development of fundamental skills in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science.
Students may take the first year of both years of Pre-engineering according to their needs prior to applying for entrance into the Engineering Science Program.
Because of the flexibility within the Pre-engineering curriculum, it is highly recommended that students considering this program meet with an advisor from the engineering faculty.
Pre engineering Electives are: CAD101, CHE101, CHE102, CPS101, MET126, and TCM101. Students who have NOT had any chemistry should consult with their advisor and consider taking CHE101 - Introductory Chemistry 1.
