Flanagan, epitomize the 2012 Students United! Leadership Conference held at the FSU campus on March 30, 2012. Fourteen student leaders (plus two Student Life faculty members and one intern) from our North Shore Community College
stirred from bed around sunrise on that chilly Friday morning in order to hear the wisdom of Dr. Flanagan, as well as motivational speaker Michael Miller.

The following students are to be congratulated for being the first NSCC students to be accepted to Yale University Medical School Summer Medical Dental Education
Program (SMDEP): Luisa Pereira, Olexandr Zolotov, and Nadgla Anilus. Luisa Pereira and Nadgla Anilus are current students and Olexandr Zolotov is a recent transfer from NSCC.
