NSCC Danvers Campus Construction Schedule
(Tentative & subject to change)

Update: February 4, 2010
Danvers Campus OFF-SITE Parking at Ferncroft Country Club will be reinstated starting Thursday February 3rd until further notice due to popular demand. See NSCC-Ferncroft Shuttle Schedule for pick-up/drop-off schedule. Parking on Danvers Campus designated as first-come, first-served to accommodate increased enrollments.

September 8, 2009
* Lot 6 available for NSCC use

Week of Sept 14, 2009
*Parking Lots 4 & 5 closed for site prep work
*Allied Health Building main entrance closed
*Parking Lot 7 changed to faculty/staff only with additional handicap accessible spaces

October 2009
*Groundbreaking

December 7, 2009 - January 2010
*Foundation excavation & pouring
*Sections of access road between Berry & Health Buildings temporarily closed due to new electric & gas services. See construction/parking map and more info

January 10, 2010 - March 1
*Steel bid & construction over the winter

March
*Arrival of Steel

April/May
*Steel Framing

May-July (Summer) 2010
*Building enclosed and work will commence inside
*Renovation of IT area in current Health Professions building
*Geothermal wells; finish site parking in lot 6; minor expansion of lot 7

August 2010-July 2011
*Inside building construction

August 2011- December 2011(TBD)
*Finish site work and move existing staff from Aggie and current Health Professions.
Building open for Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 semester classes TBD.
