NSCC Awarded $500,000 U.S. Education Department FIPSE Grant

North Shore Community College has been awarded a $500,000 United States Department of Education grant through the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) to help under-skilled adults find pathways to education and training for promising new careers.

NSCC’s Scholar’s Den Restaurant Is Open For Lunch

North Shore Community College’s popular Scholar's Den Restaurant, located on NSCC’s Hathorne (Essex Aggie) Campus, 562 Maple St. (Rt. 62) and run by NSCC's Culinary Arts department, is open for lunch every Wednesday and Thursday, October 14 –December 16, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.(The Scholar's Den will be closed on November 11th for Veterans Day and November 26 for Thanksgiving.) The student-prepared, four-course luncheons include soup, salad, entree and dessert and a bottomless cup of coffee - all for only $5!
