Do I need a library card?
You need a NSCC photo ID if you are a student or employee of the college. The ID is also a library card. Stop by the Student Life Office in Danvers (DB 132) or Lynn (LW 171) to get an ID. Students need to bring a current class schedule to get an ID and staff members need to have a photo ID. Bring your NSCC ID to the library and we will activate it for you. |

Where is the copier?
The copier at the Lynn Campus Library is located in the periodicals area and the copier at the Danvers Campus Library is in the photocopy room. Copies are $.10 per page. |

Can I access the library from home?
Yes. Go to http://www.northshore.edu/library. You will need a current NSCC ID to access our databases. Please stop by the Library Reference Desk for more information. |

Can I use my cell phone in the library?
The library is the only quiet study area and we ask everyone to take calls outside. |

Does the library have movies?
The libraries at both campuses have DVDs and videotapes on a variety of subjects. For assistance, stop at the Circulation Desk. |

Yes. Please ask a library staff member where these computers are located. |

Does the library have computers for student use?
Yes. The Danvers Campus Library has its own computer lab (DB241) and there is also a computer lab in DB201. The Lynn Campus has a computer lab in LE226. Both libraries have a computer with a scanner and color printer available. The cost of color printing is $.25 per page. |

Can I buy a book for class?
The Lynn Campus Book Store (LE102) is located directly across the hall from the library. The Danvers Campus Book Store (F113) is located on the first floor of the Health Sciences Building. |

May I borrow a pen, pencil, ruler, hole punch, paper, etc?
The Danvers and Lynn Campus Libraries keep some supplies for student use at the Circulation Desk. If you can't find what you need, the Book Stores also sell supplies. |

Can I print from computers in the library?
Yes. Printing guidelines are located by the computers. |

Do the libraries have museum passes?
Both campus libraries have a pass for the Peabody Essex Museum. The pass admits two people. The loan period is three days. The pass is picked up the day before it's needed and returned the day after it's used. We do recommend that you reserve the pass. |
