North Shore Community College has created Academic/Career Maps to help you navigate your Program of Study. More maps will be added, so please check back if you don't see yours!

Summary

Project GRAD is a federally- funded innovative program that provides individualized support and attention to students interested in pursuing a career in the health or legal fields. The program helps motivated students improve their reading, writing and math skills as they prepare to enter the program of their choice. In addition, Project GRAD participants learn strategies to help balance their academic pursuits with other life, family, and job commitments.

 

Project GRAD is:

  • A comprehensive program to build your skills in reading, writing, math and computers.
  • A safe, supportive environment that will provide you with a personal Achievement Coach to direct and advise you while you are at North Shore.
  • An opportunity that will introduce and train you to participate in online courses.
  • A path for your career exploration and goals.
  • An opportunity to gain the skills necessary to apply to a certificate program.
  • A foundation for college success and a better paying job.
